    Job Description: The Equipment Maintenance Technician is tasked with providing assistance for a variety of electromechanical process equipment. Their primary duties include conducting routine preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on production equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize drawings, diagrams, technical manuals, schematics, and verbal instructions for troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
    • Demonstrate basic proficiency with various hand tools and meters.
    • Perform calibration of production equipment and maintain necessary data records.
    • Execute preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment.
    • Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
    • Modify preventive maintenance and calibration specifications to support continuous equipment improvement.
    • Collaborate with Engineering to address complex equipment issues and document corrective measures.
    • Develop equipment preventive maintenance and calibration procedures and draft appropriate specifications.
    • Identify and implement equipment modifications to enhance performance and reliability.
    • Coordinate with Engineering and facilities to commission new equipment.
    • Prioritize job duties with a focus on safety and cleanliness.
    • Participate as a member of cross-functional project teams.
    • Maintain awareness of workplace issues such as OSHA regulations.
    • Fulfill other related duties as assigned.

    Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • ASEE Degree in Electronics/Electro or equivalent experience.
    • Previous experience in equipment support is advantageous.
    • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and meters.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite.
    • Adaptability to the dynamic requirements of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities.
    • Knowledgeable about workplace issues such as OSHA regulations.
