- Organizational Effectiveness Manager External Worker to join our Research team.
- In this vital role you will partner with the Chief of Staff of Research to drive and implement operational goals and initiatives in the Research organization.
- This role is expected to be a thought-partner to Chief of Staff of Research and drive tactical execution of key priorities within Research.
- The ideal candidate is organized and can effectively support multiple projects simultaneously.
- This position can work remotely.
- Provide operational support to Chief of Staff of Research including planning, communications, project management and implementation of key initiatives
- Generate and provide reports, dashboards and presentations that clearly summarize results and implications/recommendations to key stakeholders to inform decision making
- Support Senior Leadership Team through goal setting, problem tracking and solving, organizational management, and presentation development.
- Support internal and external presentation development, including Operating/Business Reviews, All-Staff presentations, & reports on business performance
- Coordination of priority objectives in Research through progress tracking, input gathering, and timeline management
- Contribute to cross-departmental/functional strategic initiatives/process improvement opportunities
- Support tracking of organizational resources, including headcount, budget, partnering with Finance & Human Resources.

- Masters degree and 2 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business experience, or
- Bachelors degree and 4 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business experience,
- MBA or Masters Degree
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including listening & presentation skills
- Proficiency & adaptability with related software tools (Smartsheet, SharePoint, MS Teams, Office 365, etc.)
- Exhibited problem-solving skills with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Hardworking teammate and self-starter; Strong analytical thinking skills
- Shown success in Change Management
- Good understanding of success in a matrix environment
- Ability to engage different personalities and levels within the organization, particularly senior and executive management
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflict
- Good knowledge of Discovery Research and Pre-Clinical development
- Strong project management experience in a life sciences/biopharmaceutical industry.
- Familiar with technologies such as teams, office, and dashboard creation.
- 4+ years of previous experience working in a senior environment.
- Growth mindset for process improvement.
