Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN)
CTTX Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team.
At CTTX Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and providing a supportive and collaborative work environment for our nursing staff.
As a PACU nurse, you will assess and monitor patients after surgery, manage post-operative pain, and ensure proper wound care and healing.
We are looking for an experienced nurse who possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

RequirementsJob Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor the physiological and psychological status of patients recovering from anesthesia.
Manage post-operative pain and administer medications as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and level of consciousness.
Ensure proper airway management and respiratory support.
Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement a comprehensive post-operative care plan.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their recovery and post-operative instructions.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of post-operative care, pain management, and wound healing.
