    Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nur at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description About the Job In this role, you will be responsible for vitals, injections, basic triage and should be able to assist in minor procedures.

    In addition, you should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, computers, and phones. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service and have good written/verbal communication skills.

    Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable of routine office procedures, medical instruments, and will screen phone calls from patients for the provider.

    This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

    Kootenai Clinic Lung and Asthma provides comprehensive care for patients with a variety of pulmonary problem s.

    The clinic offers in-house comprehensive Pulmonary Function Testing and works closely can arrange for state-of-the-art diagnostic services including CT scans, PET scans, bronchoscopy, and polysomnography (sleep studies).

    They have established relationships with a variety of other medical providers in the region who are important to the care of patients with pulmonary problems including cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and oncologists.


    Minimum Qualifications LPN Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
    + Vocational/technical training program in Nursing + State of Idaho Licensed Practice Nurse + BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during general orientation. CMA Requirements and Minimum Qualifications + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred + Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience + Passage of CMA examination given by AAMA, NHA or NCCT required within 3 months from date of hire + BLS Required.
