    We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Cat Scan Technologist to join the Mountainside Team

    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do

    The Cat Scan Technologist will be responsible for performing Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and Cat Scan interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients.

    The successful candidate will be able to:

    • Scheduling
    • Ordering supplies
    • Controlling patient flow in the department
    • Prepare patients for scanning
    • Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
    • Provide accurate explanations and instructions
    • Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
    • Monitor the patient's physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
    • Perform any and all other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    What You'll Bring

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree is Applied Science preferred
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in CT scan
    • Active and current New Jersey State License-NJDEP Radiologic Technologist
    • Maintains CEU Credits
    • American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
