    Job Description: Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a school in Bellevue, NE for the 2024/2025 school year. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in assessing and providing therapy to students with communication disorders to support their academic and social success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders in both individual and group settings.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
    • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
    • Stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Previous experience working as an SLP in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Professional references required.

    State Requirements:

    • Must hold a valid Nebraska license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Compliance with Nebraska state regulations for SLPs.
