Great opportunity for an Architect (or Senior Architect) who is looking for a new challenge, exciting projects and variety

Our client is a multi-disciplinary Architectural and Engineering firm incorporated in the State of Minnesota with over 10 offices (primarily out state).

Their in-house staff includes Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers, surveyors, Civil Engineers, and Mechanical & Electrical Engineers.

Whether it be a healthcare facility, a new school, an interior office renovation, Government office or anything in-between, they take pride and ownership in everything they do.

The Architect will perform professional Architectural work throughout the programming, design, investigation, estimating, and construction phases of their work including the supervision of staff and coordination of disciplines.

An ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work on several projects/tasks both independently and successfully with a project team.

Attention to detail will be crucial, as will the ability to take initiative to produce and direct high-quality deliverables with minimum supervision.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schematic Design & Design Development

Development of conceptual renderings, designs, and sketches

Programming & Material Selection

Construction Documents & Specifications

Drafting of construction plans and details using AutoCAD and Revit software

Preparation of and coordination of written specifications

Construction Administration

Staff Coordination – Internal & External

Facilitation of coordination between in-house disciplines and outside consultants

Possesses a positive attitude, strong communication, teamwork & leadership skills

Work directly with clients, consultants, stakeholders, etc.

Create and adhere to project schedules

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Architecture from an accredited institute

Licensed Architect (preferred, not required)

Revit (preferred, not required)

AutoCAD Microsoft Office Products

2+ years of architectural experience

Positive attitude, strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to quickly adapt to diverse needs and changing projects

Ability to work in group settings with a project team
