Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our client. The selected candidate will play a critical role in establishing and maturing cloud strategy across the organization's global growth.
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer the selected candidate will contribute to business process improvements of IT policies, procedures, tools, security controls and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling for routine operation tasksParticipate in team activities such as peer code reviews, design collaboration efforts and rotating on-call processUse automation, configuration management and deployment tools to provide cloud-based solutionsWork with solution architects and partners to confirm developed solutions align with existing standards, meet security controls and meet cloud computing best practicesDevelop tooling and associated processes to improve automation, efficiency, consistency and adherence to security and audit requirements and controlsManage implementation and the ongoing operation of cloud services following approved designs, adherence to patterns, security requirements and certify all logging and monitoring are active for security and complianceInvestigate and monitor current-state cloud usage, solutions in use, risks, gaps, and limitations and recommend solutions, optimizations, and remediationMaintain comprehensive and systematic configuration, lifecycle, and security management of serversEnsure cloud services and toolsets are deployed with best practices and are fully documentedRequired
10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure across-platform areas, with implementing and maintaining expertise5+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing public cloud IaaS and PaaS servicesExperience building an automated cloud infrastructure across Prod and Non-Prod environmentsScripting and automation of builds, workflows, tasks, and other integration aspectsLinux and Microsoft Windows server administrationKubernetes and related technologies for virtualizationAzure DevOps, Nexus Repository System, and Gnu Make for setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Web services, microservices APIs, and related software architecture conceptsConfiguration management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsets including (e.g.
Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chief)Desired :
Experience with GitHub, Python, and TerraformExperience deploying cloud technologies on Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaSExperience in Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps culture principles and practicesExperience with deploying Docker containers into a cloud environmentExperience with writing PowerShell scriptsFamiliarity with operating and maintaining cloud solutions to address industry regulations including PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and GDPRAzure DevOps Engineer Certification
