The Chapel Hill Country Club is looking for experienced Wait Staff/Servers to join our fun and dedicated team While we are a country club, the environment is warm, friendly, and informal. Our members enjoy the more casual setting and getting to know the team. Our members are quick to welcome new faces to the Club

FULL TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Full-time shifts

• Tuesday -Friday 11:00am -4:00pm (flexibility in selecting your additional shift(s) to get 30 hours/week for full-time benefits eligibility)
• Tuesday - Friday 4:30pm - 9:30pm (flexibility in selecting your additional shift(s) to get 30 hours/week for full-time benefits eligibility)

Shift openings:

• Saturday and Sunday Lunch/Brunch 11:00am - 4:00pm
• Saturday Evening Banquets and Events 4:30pm - 11:00pm
• Sunday Dinner 4:30pm - 8:00pm
• Tues-Friday shifts are available for both days and evenings 11:00am - 4:00pm and 4:30pm - 9:30pm

Responsibilities:

The Service Staff is responsible for providing superior food and beverage service to members and guests. Our Servers are the face of the Club and uphold the highest standards of service and food handling procedures.

• Deliver excellent service to members and guests with a positive and professional demeanor
• Anticipate members and guests needs and take care of special requests
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage programs
• Participate in staff training to increase food, beverage, and service knowledge
• Assist with set up, execution, and breakdown of the dining room and/or banquet events
• Develop and maintain good relationships with Club members, guests, and fellow colleagues
• Adhere to Club standards and procedures
• Build and promote collaborative relationships with the Back of the House team
• Have fun in a lively environment – it's not just a job; it's a team

Qualifications Required:

• You demonstrate care and customer service skills in your approach to work
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, are friendly, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and you are an independent self-starter
• Courteous and attentive to members and guests, you care about the details
• At least one year of experience as Server/Wait Staff (prefer 2 + years)
• Highly desire experience in high end dining, banquet events, or country club
• Be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, bend, lift (up to 20lbs) and move tables, chairs, food trays, etc.
