    About the job: The Universal Teller provides excellent customer service to current and potential members and represents the Credit Union in a positive, professional manner. The Universal Teller will assist current and potential members with inquiries about our products and services and make appropriate recommendations. Universal Teller's work with other departments to resolve member inquiries, problems and complaints. Additionally, Universal Tellers will fulfill the duties of a Teller as well as some duties of a Member Service Representative as needed and conduct these activities in accordance with Credit Union policies, goals and objectives established by management.

    Preferred requirements:
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Basic math skills

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience in a business/financial environment

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with members and employees
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
    • Ability to count proficiently by 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s and 100s.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
