    As a Patient Access Representative (PAR) you are responsible for handling front office reception and scheduling duties. This includes greeting patients, registration, answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating patient accounts and charts, and collecting patient payments

    Qualifications:

    • This position requires a high school diploma or GED and computer skills.
    • Multitasking and organizational skills are required
    • Must have interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Adaptability and flexibility are required
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required
    • Understanding of commercial health insurance, Medicaid and Medicare is a plus
    • Bilingual, plus but not required

    Working Conditions:
    • Work is performed in a clinic-office environment
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds; and occasionally up to 25 pounds
    • Must be able to sit 90% and stand 10% of time.
    • Acute hearing is required when listening to employees and patients.
    • Possess the ability to bend, lift, and climb stairs.
    Work may involve some exposures to operating circumstances that require following standard or prescribed safety precautions.
