- Create training material, such as knowledge base articles, videos and tutorials.
- Test the validity and accuracy of the knowledge base articles through workflows in the Freshworks ITSM system.
- Create end user communication plans and emails for project launch activities.
- Create change adoption plan and training materials for our end Users.
- 2+ years proven experience as a technical writer in the software industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent ability to adapt writing style and tone to target audience to technical and non-technical Users.
- Write, edit and review technical documentation/knowledge base articles for accuracy and clarity.
- Create/develop communication plan and emails for project launch communications to user community.
- Proven self-starter with technical aptitude to quickly learn how to use software systems and then write how to documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Able to work quickly and independently.
- Experience with ITSM ticketing systems like Freshservice and Service Now
- Experience in video creation tools
- Experienced in working with collaboration tools, such as Sharepoint, MS Office, Visio,

Five 9 is looking for two month contract for a detail-oriented technical writer who will work with the IT PMO & Desktop Support Team to develop, manage and maintain internal documentation, how to videos, and knowledge base articles. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise documentation and change adoption and communication plans and materials for our ITSM platform and Virtual Agent project.
