    What's the role?
    This position will be responsible to oversee all sales activities, inventory financing and account development within the assigned region. The ideal candidate must manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

    What you'll do as our Area Manager?

    The primary responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with customers, increasing the customers use of the line of credit, identifying and mitigating account risk and collections pre and post default.

    The initial primary responsibilities are growing the portfolio by collection new dealer applications, including timely follow up on new leads and referrals.

    Achieve goals and performance targets as set by the company by daily production and activities with calls and visits to customers, collaborating with internal partners to drive revenue and maximize profitability through prudent account management, controlled growth, and risk mitigation.

    Educate customers on desired account and audit performance, self-service options, and best practices and coach them to ensure compliance with company policies and expectations.

    Collect and analyze customer financial information and various internal reports, scorecards, and dashboards to assess add monitor dealer performance and address with the dealer as appropriate to drive growth and manage risk.

    Support the Risk department with post and pre-default risk mitigation.

    Serve as a fiduciary for the company including identifying and reporting to the company any material information or internal non-compliance with company policies, attempted or actual fraud upon the company or any other circumstance that may require identification and reporting to protect the company.

    Document notes and all activities and client interactions through various company CRSs as required by the company.
    Create synergies throughout all Hankey Group companies.
    Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Qualities we look for in our Area Manager
    Knowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)
    Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology
    Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
    Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients, collaborate with internal team members. and external partners at various levels within the organization
    Strong time management skills with ability to manage deadlines
    Strong negotiation and collection skills
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
    Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
    BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
    2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management and/ or collections required

    Travel:
    Greater than 25% with some overnight travel required
    Ability to travel, fly, drive
    Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
    Valid driver's license required for this position
