    Services Support Assistant I Role Summary
    The Services Support Assistant I is an entry-level position that operates automated systems, performs data management responsibilities, and provides clerical support to professional staff. The role involves working under close supervision and receiving detailed instructions on the operation of state and county data operating systems. As employees gain requisite skills and knowledge, they are given greater independence and scope of responsibility.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Data Entry: Performs data entry transactions for case management, aid authorization, imaging, statistical data maintenance.
    • System Operations: Operates a variety of operating systems software or related equipment with well-defined routines procedures limited requirement for interpretation adaptation of instructions.
    • Maintenance Files Reports: Maintains files generates routine reports documents using system resources.
    • Troubleshooting Problem Solving: Troubleshoots problems individual records cases participants applying rules regulations coordinates with department supervisors help desk solving problems responds public inquiries providing information referring requests supervisory staff as appropriate.
