Description

The Supply Chain Analyst, also known as Buyer/Planner, plays a critical role in facilitating the procurement and coordination of key commodities used by Oracle's manufacturing partners to produce Oracle Hardware Systems. This position requires interaction across multiple cross-functional areas and demands both technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Career Level - IC2

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for acquiring materials based on engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at optimal levels. Key responsibilities include resolving discrepancies, ensuring material standards are met, and managing non-conformances or variances. Additionally, this role involves supply/demand analysis, inventory management, lead time management, backlog review, manual POs, expense POs, converting requirements to purchase orders, responding to emails, attending staff meetings, and participating in ad hoc supplier meetings.

Requirements:

College degree or 5 years equivalent experience.
. US citizenship required.
Proven experience in supply chain and/or logistics functions, including material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, and distribution.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience optimizing supply chain operations to increase efficiency.
Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess data.
