- Provides a warm welcome to all entering the facility, offering to provide assistance where needed
- Ensure that patients and visitors are aware of and adhering to hospital entrance policies
- Adheres to access control requirements such as checking badges to ensure authorized access
- Addresses any unauthorized access, escalating to the Security team if needed.
- Helps provide information and guide patients, visitors and employees to their desired location
- Finds moments to go above and beyond by anticipating patient and visitor's needs, such as:
- Customer service-related issues will be handled quickly and professionally
- Assisting with wayfinding
- Understands the importance of access control and working closely with security when needed
- Ensures hospital lobbies and public areas are clean, safe, and uncluttered in accordance with hospital standard
- Support to security as an additional vigilant set of eyes and ears at the hospital entrance
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Deliver extraordinary service to each patient and visitor
- Committed team memberreliably showing up for schedule shifts
- Maintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors

Weekend Overnight Hospital Front Desk AttendantThe Hospital Front Desk Attendant is responsible for creating a safe and positive experience for each person entering the hospital- including patients, visitors and employees. Stationed behind the front desk of the lobby entrance, this crucial position is charged with not only a warm and welcoming experience, but a safe one. From answering basic navigational questions and assisting with wayfinding to providing basic access control, this critical role sets the tone for the rest of the individual's visit.
Most importantly, the Front Desk Attendant is a true customer service professional who inherently loves to help others and are happy to eliminate any anxiety that can come with a hospital visit.
This is for an overnight shift on Sundays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
High School degree or equivalent
At least one year related experience strongly preferred

Physical Demands
The Hospital Front Desk Receptionist will be required to stand for most of their shift, walk, sit, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 20lbs and be able to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for the duration of their shift.
