- Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Supervise production of all payroll checks, preparation, and submission of all related payroll tax returns and deposits, preparation and submission of all related 401(k) deposits, preparation of all related employee garnishment payments, and all necessary annual payroll filings.
- Supervise timely and accurate daily cash sales posting for all locations.
- Supervise timely and accurate receipts posting of all accounts receivable accounts.
- Perform timely and accurate monthly reconciliation and analysis of cash and receivable accounts.
- Review intercompany transactions of inventory transfers and other activities. Perform a timely and accurate monthly reconciliation of all intercompany accounts and other "inter-company" receivables.
- Work with store managers and staff to resolve open items related to cash and receivables.
- Oversee monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
- Work with Accounts Payable as support for vendor statement activity questions and follow-up.
- Supervise the corporate office petty cash fund and related reconciliation and replenishment.
- Work with Credit and Collections Department to resolve open items related to cash and receivables.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of Accounting experience.
- 3 years of managerial experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced knowledge off Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organization, communication, leadership, and managerial skills.
- Comprehension: Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.
- Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basis.
- Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to make decisions with significant impact on department's credibility, operations, and services.
- Communication: Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive materials, such as legal documents, authoritative reports, official publications of major scope and impacts, and make formal presentations.
- Mathematics: Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and develop forecasts and computer models.

I. General Job Description
This position will be responsible for managing all activities associated with and related to cash and cash applications, as well as managing payroll and related payroll activities. Additional responsibilities include processing demand check requests, account reconciliation and analysis, and reconciliation of intercompany.

Salary Description
$95,000 - $120,000 Annually
