Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Weekend Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the common areas at a Condominium community in Downtown Sarasota. This position is essential in ensuring residents and guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the weekend.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all common areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, fitness center, clubhouse, and shared amenities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
- Clean glass doors, windows, and mirrors
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly
- Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated areas
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Assist with light setup and cleanup for weekend events if needed
- Clean pool area, including furniture and grilling equipment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in an organized manner
Experience
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (condominium or hotel experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional and courteous when interacting with residents and guests
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Knowledge of health safety standards related to cleaning practices in hospitality or commercial settings.
