Foundation Development Specialist - Sioux Falls

Job summary
The Development Specialist provides administrative, operational and donor-support services for the Sanford Health Foundation Sioux Falls team. This role is responsible for managing details documentation logistics follow-up that allow philanthropy development officers to focus on donor relationships fundraising strategy stewardship.This position supports daily functioning of the Foundation focusing on administrative duties related to donor services gift processing recognition logistics record management office operations. The Development Specialist processes gifts accurately timely manner helps document donor intent story behind gifts when appropriate supports acknowledgment stewardship efforts maintains records data integrity including updates naming sponsorship information appeal funded opportunity records database cleanup.
In addition to donated-facing support this role assists with events experiences internal operations supporting calendar scheduling coordination adding community continuing education events shared calendars assisting internal coordination as needed manages routine office tasks such as shipping mailings tracking inventory ordering supplies invoice processing expense support maintains organized systems documented processes consistent standards supporting efficiency continuity across team.
