- Draft, review, and revise legal documents like pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, both verbally and in writing.
- Oversee electronic discovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Assist with trial preparation by coordinating exhibits, witnesses, and trial logistics.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, call management, and record-keeping.
- File documents with courts and maintain accurate calendars.
- Stay updated on legal requirements and procedural changes.
- Organize and maintain electronic case files and client data.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
- Handle client billing tasks and administrative support for attorneys.
- 3+ years of legal assistant experience
- Previous family law and litigation experience in a law firm.
- Knowledge of litigation procedures and deadlines.
- Experience with e-filing.
