We are looking for a full-time Medical Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team in our facility located in Lithia Fl.

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge of principles of customer service clerical procedures obtaining referrals medical ethics medical record administration appointment booking guidelines for release of medical information and applicable information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews files coordinates medical information Completes required data entry to electronic medical record Receives distributes information in timely efficient manner facilitates continuity care Maintains health records storage retrieval system Participates OMG members providing assessing improving customer services relations patients Verifies Insurance via payer websites telephone Determines coverage benefits calculates patient responsibility scheduled Enters insurance EHR notifies clinics any coverage issue Follows pending expired authorizations Preps completes all charts provider's appointments Collects co-pay paperwork monies from patients Documents phone calls person spoken call details basis Assists minor concerns/complaints elevates necessary Maintains broad range knowledge plans terminology billing procedures government regulations codes Shares gained staff works member Reviews demographics matches EMR system Interacts others positive respectful considerate manner Ensures proper management security confidentiality records Will personally accountable correct data entered electronic record completion daily duties
