- Perform basic first aid.
- Administer specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intermuscular injection. Record time(s) and amount(s) on students' charts.
- Observe patients and record adverse reactions to medication or treatment. Report adverse reactions to principal and parents.
- Perform routine health screenings (vision, hearing and lice) on students.
- Sterilize equipment and supplies.
- Keep an accurate records of students' information regarding vaccinations and tests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
