    Job Summary:

    The Telemetry RN will be responsible for monitoring patients' heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood-oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information using specialized equipment. They will interpret the data to determine patient care needs and collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide basic bedside care, including vital sign checks and medication administration.
    • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting electronic displays and recording data as needed.
    • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team promptly.
    • Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • 1 year of recent acute care experience

    Work Environment:

    This is a travel nurse position, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The Telemetry RN must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Good vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, is essential for this role.

    Salary:$123,456 per year, based on experience and location.
