- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software License Compliance Manager to lead our efforts in ensuring adherence to software licensing agreements and regulations.
- In this role, candidates will work closely with various departments to monitor, track, and manage software licenses across the organization.
- Candidate will play a critical role in maintaining compliance, mitigating risks, and optimizing software usage, while also contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor software usage and licenses across the organization to ensure compliance with licensing agreements, copyright laws, and relevant regulations.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee regular software license audits to verify compliance and identify potential licensing gaps or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of software licenses, agreements, and usage.
- Generate regular reports and summaries for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and assess potential risks related to software licensing non-compliance.
- Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of software license management policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with procurement and IT teams to identify opportunities for optimizing software license costs, including consolidating licenses and renegotiating agreements.
- Work with IT teams to implement software asset management tools and systems to enhance license tracking and compliance efforts.
