    Client Details

    Our client is one of the mid-Atlantic's top General Contractors. They are family-owned and have been in business for over 50 years. They have multiple offices throughout the area, with the majority of their work located between Falls Church and Richmond. Their bread and butter is Multifamily construction with the majority of their projects valued between $30 and $100M, however they have completed projects worth $200M+. They have been consistently growing in headcount and revenue year over year and as a result are looking to grow their team. They are currently looking to bring on a strong Assistant Superintendent.

    Description

    • Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
    • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
    • Support the project closeout process, including final inspections, client walkthroughs, and documentation turnover.

    Profile

    • Bachelor's degree in [Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field].
    • 4-6 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on ground-up construction.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.
    • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
