    Customer Service Representative Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at Northern Light Health. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families, while also growing your skills and career.

    This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. Our office is located at 43 Whiting Hill Rd Brewer, Maine 04412, but we offer flexibility for remote work for those located within commutable distance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Actively participate in team huddles and meetings to share knowledge, request information, and recommend process improvements.
    • Advocate for patients regarding complaints or billing issues, following established policies and procedures.
    • Resolve assigned accounts in a timely and accurate manner, maximizing reimbursement in compliance with departmental policies.
    • Meet or exceed performance standards for quality and productivity.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • At least 6 months of healthcare customer service experience
    • 1+ years of data entry experience
    • Basic proficiency with Windows PC applications and Microsoft Office
    • Ability to train onsite for the first 12 weeks
    • Full Flu vaccination required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of experience in healthcare customer service
    • Medical Terminology
    • Previous work experience with Northern Light Health

    Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year

    Please note that the salary range is based on industry standards and may vary depending on location, experience, and other factors.
