Our client based in Iowa City, IA, is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide quality dental care to patients and assist the dentist in various procedures.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about oral health and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities:
Conduct oral health assessments and screenings.
Clean and scale teeth to remove plaque and calculus.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Administer local anesthesia when necessary.
Assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Experience and


Skills:
Proficient in performing vital signs and medical documentation.
Knowledgeable about dental anatomy and oral health conditions.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting.

Must be from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Coralville, Marion, Hiawatha, IA, or surrounding areas. No relocation.
