    Chemical Plant Production Engineer.

    Monday – Friday (7/8 am – 4/5 pm) with occasional minimal nights and weekends


    Position Overview:
    As a


    Chemical Plant Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing plant processes, troubleshooting complications, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of quality products.

    This position requires a commitment to Roquette and site policies related to health, safety, environment, and quality.

    You will lead and participate in projects aimed at continuous improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Ensure compliance with Roquette & site policies (HSE, Quality, GMP, etc.).

    Lead and participate in projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.

    Implement best practices to optimize plant operations.

    Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Process Control Engineers for effective process control.

    Coordinate and supervise project implementation, ensuring cost control and quality.

    Lead process changes through MOC development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.

    Track departmental OEE and participate in plant shutdown coordination.


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

    New graduates accepted; 3+ years of experience preferred.

    Liquid processing - Chemical liquid processing experience

    Experience in Corn Wet Milling, Ethanol Production, Paper Industry, or related fields desired.

    Strong technical skills, self-motivation, and a drive for continuous improvement.

    Problem-solving and troubleshooting experience in complex operational environments.

    Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    Interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.

    Experience with OEE & SPC recommended.

    Green belt and Black belt certification preferred.

    Familiarity with PSM element implementation, compliance, and auditing is a plus.
