    Our Development team is growing We are looking for an entry-mid level Software Engineer to collaborate with fellow Engineers and assist in building the best possible experience for our clients and internal users.

    This is a remote eligible position that would require occasional travel to our Northampton, MA office.

    Responsibilities Include

    Developing and building next generation web applications for the Checkwriters platform.
    Working on a high performing team to write and test code in an agile environment.
    Collaborating with stakeholders and Development team members to deliver the best possible product.
    Being apart of a culture where individuals strive for continual improvement in our products.
    Building the best possible payroll and HR experience for our customers.

    What We're Looking For

    Degree or certificate in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
    2+ years of full stack web application development experience:
    Preferable backend experience with C#, .NET
    Preferable frontend experience with JavaScript (Angular preferred)
    Experience with Agile processes, artifacts, and tools.

    MVC, web, and SQL database experience:
    MSSQL preferred, other database experience welcome.
    Familiarity with accessing and retrieving data from RESTful services.
    Responsive design experience.
    Familiarity with the Git version control system.
    Understanding of architectural design patterns.
    The ability to work in a team environment and a strong sense of initiative.
