    **Join Our Dynamic Team as a Physical Therapist in Sports Medicine**

    **Job Description:**

    - **100% Outpatient Setting**
    - **Shift:** Days, 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM
    - **Start Date:** April 6, 2026

    **Position Overview:**

    - Assess and treat neuromusculoskeletal & cardiorespiratory systems through physical or mechanical means
    - Focus on maintaining or restoring function impaired by injury or disease
    - Manage pain and promote mobility and health based on physician prescriptions
    - Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans of care
    - Collaborate closely with patients, their families, and an interdisciplinary team

    **Minimum Qualifications:**

    - **Education:**
    - Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy
    - **Certifications/Licenses:**
    - Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
    - BLS certification required
    - **Skills Needed:**
    - Strong assessment/evaluation, decision-making, and time management abilities
    - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    - Organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads

    **Work Environment:**

    - Clean, well-lit, ventilated, and smoke-free environment
    - Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients, and hazardous chemicals
    - Subject to stressful professional relationships

    **Physical Requirements:**

    - Good physical condition
    - Prolonged standing and walking
    - Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients and manipulate occupied equipment
    - Lift supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs
    - Awareness of potential strains from lifting heavy patients and equipment
