Entry-Level CNC ProgrammerWe are currently seeking a candidate with 3+ years of experience with CNC operation and computer literacy skills, who wants to take the next step in their career and learn CNC Programming, for a client in Akron, OhioIn this position, you will work in a modern, 33,000 square foot production facility with advanced machining and tooling technology and learn to perform CNC programming edits (including G&M coding) and develop CNC programs via manual coding and Surfcam on equipment such as Horizontal and Vertical Mills, 5 Axis Machines, Lathes, and EDM Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup / programming of various CNC machinesReading / interpreting technical blueprints / design modelsLoading raw materials into the CNC machineInputting the product design into the computer modeling softwareChoosing / loading the correct cutting tools for the jobAdjusting machine settings to the desired product specificationsTroubleshooting issues during the manufacturing processPerform routine machine maintenance
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma / GEDMinimum of 3-4 years of experience with CNC operationAbility to read / interpret design blueprintsComputer literate with the ability to learn / use various software packagesEmploy
