Description
A leading Colorado Health System is actively recruiting for a Peripheral Vascular Surgeon to join their medical staff This is an attractive Hospital Employment opportunity to join two well-established Vascular Surgeons and enjoy a full-time Vascular Surgery and Vein practice with shared Call 1:3.
The new Vascular Surgeon will be skilled in open vascular cases, including Endovascular cases, EVARS, TEVARS, Carotid Stenting, Carotid Endarterectomies, AV Fistulas, Fistulograms, Aortograms and Venograms.
Approximately 10% of the practice will be Veins and the Vascular Surgeon will need to be experienced in Thrombolytic therapy and treatment of PEs.
The impressive 350 Bed Regional Trauma Center draws patients from 14 counties throughout Southern Colorado and they provide care to a growing 400,000-person service area.
The Vascular Surgeons work with two experienced surgical PAs in the practice and they have full collaborative support from the Health Systems well-established Cardiology Group and Cardiothoracic Surgery team.
The Health System offers the only Open-Heart Surgery Program in Southern Colorado and they have excellent surgical services with full Cardiac/Vascular Anesthesia support, including two Xi da Vinci Robots and TAVR Program.
The Hospital also features cutting-edge surgical equipment, 12 OR suites and a closed 48 Bed ICU and Neuro Trauma ICU, including (2) ER facilities that see more than 80,000 ER visits annually.
The Hospital is partnering with UC Health and they are expanding their services.They have recently opened a new state-of-the-art Orthopedic Hospital, as well as a new Cancer Center on the Hospital campus.
Additionally, the Hospital is affiliated with a Colorado Medical School and they have an active Internal Medicine Residency Program in town, along with three Fellowship Programs for Gastroenterology, Cardiology and for Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.
