    Job Overview:

    CVP Surgery Center, in partnership with CVP, operates as a specialized ambulatory surgery center exclusively focused on ophthalmology procedures. The center is seeking a skilled Preop/PACU RN who can efficiently manage tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and uphold AORN and APIC standards while collaborating effectively within a team. A positive attitude, attention to detail, compassion for patient care, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting are essential qualities for this position. Experience in ophthalmology is not mandatory. The center emphasizes a strong teamwork culture and advocates for work-life balance.

    • Weekday Shifts starting at 0600/0630
    • Operations include 4 operating rooms and one procedural room
    • Ophthalmology Specialization
    • No on-call duty, holidays, or weekends required
    • Competitive compensation and sign-on bonuses offered to eligible candidates

    Education and Experience:

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) with an associate degree required; BSN preferred
    • Current unrestricted Virginia or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • One year of ER, ICU, OR PACU, or OR experience is advantageous
    • No New Grads
    • BLS certification is a prerequisite
    • ACLS certification desired, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire
    • Reliable transportation is a must
