    Job DescriptionBusy Internal Medicine practice is looking to hire phlebotomist.

    Hours Monday-Friday from 7:45AM- 4:15PM

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
    • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
    • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
    • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
    • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
    • Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
    • Travel to additional sites when needed Job Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
    • Previous experience as a phlebotomist required. At least 2-4 years' strong phlebotomy experience preferred
    Geriatric experience highly preferred Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
    • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
    • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
    • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
    • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
    • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
    Responsibilities:
    - Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
    - Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of specimens
    - Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain accurate records
    - Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols
    - Adhere to safety and infection control policies and guidelines
    - Maintain a clean and organized work area

    Requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent
    - Completion of a phlebotomy training program or certification
    - Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
    - Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
    - Familiarity with medical terminology and basic computer skills
