Salary –
Associate Level License - $55,000 - $70,000 (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT)
Independent Level License - $65,000 - $75,000 (LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)
Educational Requirements:
Masters in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Nursing and demonstrate competency in the practice of alcohol and drug counseling.
Duties/Responsibilities:
This position will provide direct clinical services to consumers as well as to act as an advocate for consumers of service.
This position will coordinate with other Pathways program areas and managers, be responsible for proper representation of Pathways services in the community.
Travel is required in this position and will be reimbursed according to Pathways policy.The Addiction Specialist will be able to demonstrate and consistently practice competency in the skills, knowledge and attitudes as outlined in Addiction Counseling Competencies.
Experience Required:
Requires organizational skills, as well as knowledge and skills in coordination of service and evaluating treatment modalities. This position will provide clinical supervision to staff in their geographical area, therefore supervision skills are required
. It is necessary for the Addiction Specialist to be aware of current treatment modalities as well as area resources. It is expected that the Addiction Specialist will work in conjunction with the Clinical Leads.
