    Sunbelt is a healthcare agency specializing in providing school-based therapy services to schools around the country. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of students. We are currently seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to join our team on a contract basis and support schools.

    Job Details:

    • Full time - 4 day/week schedule
    • 2-3school sites
    • In-person


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
    • Collaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, and self-care
    • Adapt classroom environments, equipment, and materials to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation
    • Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' care
    • Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students
    • Stay updated on current research, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations in school-based occupational therapy


    Qualifications:

    • Valid Colorado Occupational Therapy license
    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
    • Previous experience as a School Occupational Therapist is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and IEP team members
