Kaimetrix is currently seeking a Sr. IT Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and equipment, providing direct hands-on support to enhance the success of classroom activities and daily operations at both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily onsite IT support at FLETC and occasional support at HQ, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Troubleshoot various client hardware issues, network problems, and client image requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment and manage updates and configurations.
• Ensure high-quality support for HQ executives and the Chief of CI, including quick resolution of IT issues.
• Work collaboratively with tiered government-level user support teams to handle more complex IT issues, adhering to strict service level agreements.
• Ensure minimal to no downtime in classrooms and executive offices, with quick resolution to IT issues in real-time.
• Regularly interact with users to assess needs and ensure satisfaction with IT support services.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of network configuration, including client image management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working constructively with end users and team members.
• Previous experience working in a government or law enforcement environment is preferred.
• Commitment to providing high-level support with minimal disruption to users.
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a government clearance

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Drug testing will be required as a condition of employment.
