About Our Client

Single Family office with a focus on commercial real estate, along with some additional investments.

Small, close knit office providing a high service level to a small International family. Offices based in Manhattan. This is a predominately in office role, 4-5 days per week with flexibility.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO of this family office, you will have traditional CFO responsibilities along with senior involvement with new investments, leading financing, corporate structuring and real estate property management oversight.

8-15 years of experience, preferrably with Big 4 experience auditing family office, real estate or PE. Experience as a controller or head of accounting experience at another firm.
CPA required This is a unique opportunity for a strong candidate with experience in family office accounting, real estate, CPA and tax experience to join a successful family office. traditional finance duties include:
International entity management and reporting
Coordinating with external tax accountants
Manage financial statement preparation including one audited entity
Weekly and long-term cash management, capital calls, projections and budgets
Bank reporting and bank relationship management
Trust and estate planning oversight
Existing investment management and oversight
Some of the strategic responsibilities include: Review of new investments including tax and liquidity considerations
Corporate structuring, domestic and international
Leading new financing and re-financing

The Successful Applicant

CPA Required

Big 4 audit experience or similar Family office or real estate investment accounting experience. Tax experience is required 8-15 years of finance experience Ability to work on multiple projects Commercial real estate experience is a plus
