Job Overview- Assistant Project Manager - Electrical:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Executives and Project Managers with day-to-day activities. This role is ideal for candidates with around 3 years of experience, particularly those with a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Location:
Lynnfield, MA
Compensation:
$80,000 - $92,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Assistant Project Manager:
Assist with job quotes and estimates. Manage field workforce and customer relations. Handle general project management tasks. Open new projects and estimate manpower needs. Prepare and deliver quotations to customers. Coordinate project installations. Maintain change order logs and track job progress. Review and interpret submittals for field foremen. Prepare equipment installation schedules and manage material submittals. Closeout jobs and provide manuals to customers. Support administrative functions, including accounting.
Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager:1-3 years of experience in the construction industry preferred. Degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred. Background in HVAC controls is a plus. Comfortable reading blueprints and drawings. Experience with Bluebeam and Procore software. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents.
