Thank you for your interest in Ervin Cable Construction, we look forward to hearing from you **Overview:** A successful Safety Manager shall ensure as well as conduct inspections and monitor adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals within an assigned region. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and NESC regulations; proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data. **Essential Functions:** the ability to work safely, with or without supervision;

    the ability to read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness;

    excellent manual dexterity;

    the ability to organize work load to determine priority of duties;

    the ability to communicate with Company personnel, vendors, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

    the ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing; **Responsibilities:** Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees and supervisors of an assigned area, department, or project(s).

    Additional Duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience.

    Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.

    Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.

    Authorized to work in the United States.
