    Description

    Join our team as a Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology in Lima, OH, and make a vital impact on patient care at leading cancer centers. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team in outpatient and free-standing cancer treatment settings, providing critical radiation oncology services to adult patients.     Key responsibilities include ordering tests and images, prescribing treatments, and delivering a range of radiation procedures such as IMRT, SBRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and more. You will work alongside other experienced radiation oncologists and APPs, ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

    Required Skills:
    • Valid medical license to practice radiation oncology
    • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
    • Proficiency with Mosaiq and Epic EMR systems
    • Experience managing outpatient and inpatient adult cancer patients
    • Ability to perform complex radiation procedures including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and stereotactic radiosurgery
    • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
    Nice to Have Skills:
    • Prior experience in a cancer center setting
    • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary oncology care
    • Ability to handle both outpatient and inpatient caseloads efficiently
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
    • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in radiation oncology
    • Active state medical licensure in Ohio or willingness to obtain
    Other Requirements:
    • Credentialing process estimated at 90-120 days
    • Willingness to travel for credentialing and placement logistics
    • Certification in radiation therapy techniques is highly desirable
    • Facility reimbursement available for travel expenses including flight, hotel, and rental car
