The New York State Education Department's (NYSED) Office of Education Policy is seeking a candidate for an Associate in Education Improvement Services position on the Field Support Team in the Office of Accountability.Key responsibilities include coaching principals AND/OR instructional coaches in high-needs schools,
developing and facilitating professional learning related to leadership, instructional coaching and instructional best practices;
engaging in rigorous continuous learning to enhance their skills as a facilitative coach,
closely collaborating with team members to develop content and contribute to the growth of the professional learning community;
and supporting school and district leaders successfully develop and implement sustainable improvement practices.
- Candidates must have one year of permanent service as an Assistant in Education Improvement Services.
- Candidates must possess valid New York State teaching certification at time of hire
