Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the intensivist, this position supports the Critical Care Service Line. Principal responsibilities include assessing and managing the medical care of patients in collaboration with the physician.

The incumbent will also communicate with other nursing staff and referring physician to ensure the continuity and coordination of care.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.


Master's:
Nursing or equivalent education/experience

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

RN-Registered Nurse of California

NP-Nurse Practitioner (National certification)

NFP-Nurse Practitioner Furnishing

ACNP-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner within 1 Year of hire

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
5 Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing.

Critical Care experience.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work with individuals of diverse background and experience to create an effective working climate.

Pay Range is $121.07 to $121.07 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
