The Worldcoin Foundation ( is the protocol's steward and will support and grow the Worldcoin community until it becomes self-sufficient. Tools for Humanity ( is a global hardware and software development company. It helped launch Worldcoin and continues to provide support to the Foundation, in addition to operating the World App.

This role is part of our World App team, which since its launch in July 2023, has grown to 5 million monthly active users globally and is on track to become the largest crypto wallet in the world.

The app enables users to obtain their unique Proof of Personhood through World ID, claim Worldcoin Grants in eligible countries, and send money globally for free.

World App has processed 60 million transactions since launch making it the largest crypto application on Optimism. As a senior software engineer you'll be designing and building highly scalable systems to support the App. Build end-to-end features of the app: networking, persistence, business logic, and UI
Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering commitment to product quality
Partner with Android and backend developers on delivering remarkable solutions
Have a meaningful impact on the future of the World App product
Invent thoughtful iOS tech and open source it
Experience leading projects (ex. build or improve customer experiences, product resiliency, or backend integrations)

~ Passion about practical usage of blockchain technologies. We expect everyone on our team to be familiar and use blockchain products.
~2+ years of native iOS development experience
