    Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Travel Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) role in Baltimore, MD. 13-week contract for experienced respiratory therapists.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum 2 years of experience as a CRT or RRT with strong Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and bronchoscopy support experience

    Active Maryland or Compact Respiratory Therapist License

    RRT and BLS (AHA) required

    ACLS, PALS, CPFT, and RPFT certifications preferred (spirometry / lung function testing credentials highly valued)

    Experience with Vyntus/Jaeger pulmonary function testing systems preferred

    Epic charting experience preferred

    Comfortable caring for all age groups (pediatrics to geriatrics) and floating within the hospital as needed

    Two satisfactory professional references required

    Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

    Responsibilities

    Perform full pulmonary function testing studies, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, exercise testing, and bronchoscopy support

    Provide respiratory care and assessment for patients with a range of cardiopulmonary diagnoses

    Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as Vyntus/Jaeger PFT systems

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Services, Pulmonologists, and Rapid Response Teams

    Document patient care, test results, and procedures accurately in Epic (preferred) and maintain compliance with documentation standards

    Maintain infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance practices in the pulmonary diagnostics unit

    Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care and departmental needs
