- Manage brass ring for the Department of Pediatrics and act as the POC for department on hiring matters.
- Recommend staff applicants for interviews based on previous work history and skills to determine if the applicant would be appropriate for departmental needs.
- Maintain and update Dept, HSC, and TTPL websites.
- Assist the Department Chair as needed.
- Represents the department and coordinates faculty recruitment to include itineraries, travel arrangements, POC communication with the central faculty department, candidates, and interviewers.
- Represents the department and coordinates faculty onboarding functions to include enrollment, credentialing, human resources orientations, and training as well as departmental orientation and training.
- Assists the staff to understand and support organizational policies and objectives.
- Assist the department Administrator by enforcing and developing office operations and
- procedures.
- Represent Pediatrics in central department meetings and responsible for communication to pediatric clinical and business operations as needed.
- Responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of record filing system for the department.
- Oversee all necessary duties for travel and represent Pediatrics to travel department.
- Adheres to institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures.

Description
Position DescriptionManages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.
Major/Essential Functions
Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
