A financial firm is looking for aBusiness Analyst
to join their team. This role can sit remote.
Pay:
$45-48/hr W2
Responsibilities:
o
Perform complex data analysis to support business decisions, using advanced statistical techniques and tools.
o
Translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions.
o
Identify and analyze business processes to be improved, and propose strategies for enhancement.
o
Lead the design and implementation of new processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
o
Take on larger project responsibilities, including managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
o
Oversee the work of junior analysts and ensure that project deliverables meet business needs.
o
Engage with senior stakeholders to define business strategies and objectives.
o
Influence stakeholders and drive consensus on complex business issues.
o
Elicit and document detailed business requirements for complex systems and ensure they align with business strategy.
o
Validate requirements with multiple stakeholders and ensure they are clearly understood by the IT teams.
o
Contribute to the design of system integrations and data flows that meet business needs.
o
Work with IT to ensure that system designs are feasible and align with architectural standards.
o
Lead change management initiatives, including impact analysis, training, and communication strategies.
o
Ensure that changes are smoothly transitioned into the business with minimal disruption.
o
Develop and execute more complex test plans to ensure that systems and processes work as expected.
o
Manage user acceptance testing with business stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet their needs.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree may be preferred.
4+ years of experience in business analysis within the financial industry.

Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and the financial services regulatory environment.
·
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and experience with business intelligence software.
·
Demonstrated experience in project management and business process improvement.
·
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
·
Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC), or similar.
·
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
