Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' care needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Perform physical examinations and health assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and selfcare techniques
• Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

Skills:

• Proficient in using Cerner or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or emergency departments
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
• Experience working with children or pediatric patients
• Ability to perform dialysis procedures, if required
• Competency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting results
• Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations
• Proficient in medication administration techniques and dosage calculations
• Ability to catheterize patients, if necessary
• Knowledge of ICD10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
