Job Description

Lead the MPP site quality team responsible for regulatory & QMS compliance, safety (EHS), product safety & delivered quality to our customers, and internal process quality.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Employee safety.
  • Product safety & quality for products manufactured at MPP, including implementation of an operational and effective Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Daily management standardization for quality metrics across the shop.
  • Advancement of proactive quality through the use of Zero-Defect tools and APQP to reduce/eliminate risk.
  • Transform and enable yield through producibility and defect reduction to provide SQDC impact across MPP.
  • Develop quality capabilities through Zero Defect training, Quality Excellence Program (QEP) certification and progression, and industry training.
  • Drive the utilization of FLIGHT DECK fundaments to establish a culture of continuous improvement utilizing kaizen-based action planning and at point problem solving.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-years technical experience in production manufacturing environment (quality engineering, manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering)
