    The Business Analyst acts as a technical liaison between an operating unit and IT.

    The position assists in the definition, creation, testing and implementation of business applications targeted at providing solutions for Operations and external clients.


    Activities include project planning, designing of system enhancements, testing and the implementation of systems to ensure goals and objectives of projects are met.

    Provides a single point of contact for Operating Unit into IT and acts as a conduit between the two organizations.

    Elicitation of Business, Functional and Technical Requirements through Joint Application Design (JAR) Sessions, Focus Group and individual interviews, Prototyping, Interface Analysis, Document Analysis, and Reverse Engineering techniques.

    Leads Business Process Modeling sessions, acting as a documentarian, co-facilitator, facilitator, and/or subject matter expert in sketch sessions.
    Collaborates consistently with warehouse floor to understand requirements and systematic changes to enhance service, efficiency, and quality.
    Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests.

    Review's and elicit requirements, specifications, test, support, and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.

    Leads Business Process Management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group.

    Leads root cause analysis to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the Operating Unit and IT.Acts as Product Owner and maintains priority and traceability of requirements from concept to delivery of a project.

    Lead Scrum meetings and product sprints.

    Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and developmentAssume the role of subject matter expert for the projects and its deliverables.

    Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
    Ability to identify and document change request and escalate appropriately.
    Ability to manage and lead multiple projects.
    Strategic agility - strong understanding of why projects are being done.
    Mentor to others in the organization.
    Comfort with presenting at the senior executive level.
    Minimum Qualification

    Bachelor's degree5+ years of related work experienceLogistics experience and WMS knowledge preferred.
    Experience in leading the defining, testing and implementing of business applications to support operational execution.

    Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills to effectively interact with a wide range of users with different levels of computer expertise.

    Ability to design workable solutions to problems in a timely manner.

    Specific vision capabilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus (with or without corrective lenses).
